About Us

Our arts community has a new and exciting art gallery. The Gallery Arts & Events Center is an 8500 square foot 2 story building. Fine Art Gallery, Event Hall, Class Room, and Bar area make this a very unique venue and destination. The Gallery is independently owned and operated by Teri Roper and Bruce Reigle.

Teri , a local realtor for a home builder and artist had a vision for 20 years to own a gallery like this. Teri attended Herron School of Art / UPUI in Indianapolis. She has always had a love for the arts.

Bruce spent 40 years in the automotive business before opening his first art gallery 5 years ago. No official art instruction, Bruce began painting , wood working and doing outdoor art shows 13 years ago.

A few months ago, Teri Roper and Bruce Reigle were traveling on Merritt Island Causeway. and noticed this building for lease on Merritt Island on a high traveled highway. It had been a used car lot, so it needed some work to make it conform to a gallery. They inquired about it and a month later, they were moving in and starting renovations. Using their own money and doing the labor themselves, furniture was purchased and refurbished and the building was converted. As soon as renovations were complete,The Gallery was visited by many artists wanting to be a part. Today, The Gallery is still growing almost daily with new, beautiful art being added by Central Florida’s best artists.

We invite you to come by and see it in person . Have a beverage and roam the 2 floors of gallery. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to see when new events and classes are happening.

The Hall area is for rent to use for wedding receptions, events, or meetings. Contact us for more information.

The Gallery Arts & Events Center offers a variety of works of art, from hand-painted greeting cards to 7 ft sculptures, painting prints, giclees, original paintings, handmade jewelry and knives.

We're located on the north side of the Merritt Island Causeway between Goodwin Drive and Imperial Street, across from Red Lobster.
